As Chef Investment Officer, Dr.  Karlin  focuses primarily on leading Flagler’s investment activities in the US.

Prior to joining Flagler in 2012, Dr. Karlin leveraged his experience working with health systems, such as Mercy, Jackson, North Shore, and others, to create Near Field Communication (NFC) payment systems targeting revenue cycle management complications. Dr Karlin serves on the Board of Directors of the local American College of Healthcare Executives chapter. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Healthcare programs and delivery at Florida International University; Dr. Karlin has been published in several medicine and technology publications and continues his research efforts in healthcare.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University.
