Eli H. Karlin, M.D.
Chief Investment Officer
Dr. Eli H. Karlin is Chief Investment Officer and has been responsible for developing Flagler’s investment strategy, sourcing relationships and investment opportunities, and managing all acquisition activities. With over a decade of healthcare, technology and investment experience, Dr Karlin joined Flagler in 2012 to spearhead the physician driven investment approach and create relationships that lead to transactions.
Prior to joining Flagler, Dr. Karlin leveraged his experience working with health systems, such as Mercy, Jackson, North Shore and others, to create Near Field Communication (NFC) payment systems targeting revenue cycle management complications. Dr Karlin serves on the Board of Directors of the local American College of Healthcare Executives chapter. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Healthcare programs and delivery at Florida International University; Dr. Karlin has been published in several medicine and technology publications and continues his research efforts in healthcare.
Dr Karlin received his medical degree from the American Global University School of Medicine, and a Healthcare MBA from the Chapman Graduate School of Business at Florida International University.
